Climbing higher

Avery has finally discovered how to climb stairs! Within the last week she has learned to walk and climb stairs. I can't believe how big my baby is getting.
Stopping to take a breather! It was hard work climbing up that one stair.

What happens in Vegas........

Morgan and I decided last min to go visit our good friends in Vegas last weekend. When I say "last min" I mean last min! I called the Pattons and we were out the door in an hour! To our surprise we only forgot Avery's pj's.

It's tradition to craft when ever Melissa and I get together. She is one of the few friends I have that love to craft as much as do! Here are the crafts we made. We stuck with the Valentine theme. The good thing about the crafts we came up with is that we had everything on hand and didn't have to go buy anything. YAY!

Gotta love the Cricut machine!

On Monday we decided to brave the strip and take the kids to the Coke and M&M factory. They loved the 3D movie at the M&M factory.

Avery LOVED the Coke bear!

It was hard to get the kids to look at my camera because they had a professional photographer taking pics at the same time.

She can walk!

Little miss Avery has decided to leave crawling behind her and start walking! She is only 10 months old and is on the move. Avery was so excited when we started clapping as she took her 9 steps. She couldn't help but clap at her self. She was so proud. She knew she was doing something we loved! When Bailey was 10 months old she also started walking. My boys started walking by their first birthday.

Sorry the pics are so bad. The lighting wasn't all that great apparently.

Avery has also been saying things a lot lately. Her favorite thing to say is, What's that? (as she points to what she is looking at) It's cute to hear her say it because she says it so softly.
I think I'm going to have another little talker who doesn't know how to stop talking!

Hold on a little longer

Sometimes I wonder why we are given the things we are given. I hope that by holding on a little longer and keeping my faith that things will only get brighter. When things are in their darkest hour is when the brightest things come.

Ahh....I got to craft today

Here is a super cute idea I found to hang stuff on your fridge.
*WARNING*
This has got to be the easiest craft I have ever done!! I made these four in 5 min!

I bought a pack of clothes pins at dollar tree.
Then I used mod podge to cover them with scrapbook paper.
I purchased some buttons in a pack at Wal-mart for 1.47
The pack had a variety of colors

I glued two buttons together with super glue and attached it to the
pin.

Next, I super glued a magnet on the back and inked the edges of the paper for a distressed look.

Tada!

10 months old

Avery is 10 months old today! Little miss thang decided to take two steps on Saturday and 6 on Sunday!!! That means I will have a walking 10 month old I'm sure. Avery is such a funny baby. When she doesn't want a kiss (from dad :) she spits! She also can't help but dance when she hears any kind of music. My favorite thing she does is crinkle up her nose when she is really happy and smiles. I love seeing her 4 teeth, it cracks me up. Her new thing is she loves to watch baby shakespeare. She point and says ohhhh. I think it because of the music. Since Avery has been on the move she tends to get stuck in random places. Under chairs, between the bean bag and wall, and today she got stuck between the computer desk and a toy box! I'm a mean mom and had to run and get the camera while she screamed for a sec :) But I did get some good pics as you can see! Anyway, I'm so lucky to have a little miss Avery in our home. She brings laughs and smiles to us all. I love her to pieces!!

Back up plan

Bailey was on a roll tonight with saying some funny things. Ironically Bay brought home some homework about parent occupations. (It's funny because Morgan's last day of work was Friday) Anyway, Bay came down stairs and said, mom I want to be a vet but when I lose my job I want to be an artist. Way to have a back up plan Bailey!
