Good morning Valentine!

I looove to give little gifts to show my kids I love them. Here is what they saw when they woke up on Valentine's day.
Nothing says I love you better than a box of chocolate.
Here they are reading their cards daddy picked out.
Morgan got the boys t-shirts and I got the girls stuffed animals. Avery got a stuffed sock monkey and Bay got a stuffed wiener dog. Perfect cause we love our Zoe dog!

I saw these cute little gum ball machines and couldn't pass them up!
Happy Balentimes day!!

Valentine's night

I think going any where for Valentine's day is out until the kids are old enough to be home alone. Until then we get to have a family fun night!
Don't you just love my breasts. Chicken breasts people. What were you thinking??
Here is what Morgan and I had for dinner. Chicken breasts stuffed with green chilies and cheddar cheese. Yummy!

Here is what the kids picked out for dinner. Fancy huh?
Super excited for their gourmet meal......I have NO idea why lol

I told the kids I had a "crush" on them and gave them a soda to go with dinner.
.

Here is the gift I got for Moe. Gotta get a bit creative these days.

Nothing is better than chocolate dipped strawberries for desert

Who needs strawberries to go with chocolate?

Happy Valentine's day!!

Fourtune cookies anyone?

So for some odd reason blogger wont let me move my pics around? Grr, so these pics are not in order.
Anyway, the kids and I made homemade fortune cookies to give to their teachers for Valentines day. I found this yummy recipe online. I'll have to remember where I found it and post it here later.

They start out as slimy five inch circles. After they are baked you pinch them together and fold them on a rim of a cup to get the moon shape.
Let them cool in a cupcake pan to help it hold it's shape.
Here are the kids fortunes I rolled up inside the cookies. After they cooled I put the cookies in Chinese take out boxes that I found at Hobby Lobby. Super cute! Now that I think of it, I didn't take a pic of them all cute and cozy in their boxes :( oh well

Do you need a shave?

For Logan's kindergarten Valentine treat I decided to make sucker stashes. What are sucker stashes you say? Well it's a sucker with a mustache on the end silly :) Seriously all I did was google mustaches and copied the one I liked best, cut it out and traced them onto black foam. Then I punched holes at the bottom of the foam and stuck a sucker through the hole.
When they suck on the sucker they have an instant stash!!
Here is my model Carson.

Foam

Easy peazy!

Happy # 4!

Happy Birthday Carson!! I can't believe he is four! This year he wanted a Buzz party. Same theme as last year. The only difference was this year they had TONS of Toy Story party supplies, toys, and cakes thanks to the new TS 3 coming out. Last year I had to get really creative with things.
I decided to make my house the Pizza Planet. No laughing at my sign :)

Each guest had their own table setting.

I found this awesome pack at Walmart that had all of these fun punch out guys.

I couldn't resist making these cute alien cupcakes!!
I used neon food coloring for the frosting, mentos for the eyes, sour straws for the antenna and "orange" slices that came in different colors for the ears.

Oooooooooooo

I had found this AWESOME Buzz costume at DI a few weeks ago for 3 dollars!! It's from the Disney store and came with boots, wings, and even goggles. Carson had to wear it for his party. His friend Issac came in his Buzz costume and I had a cute cowgirl costume that I also found at DI for 3 dollars (Gymboree) that I had Natalie wear so she could be Jesse.

We played pin the ray button on Buzz.

Bean bag toss

One of my favorite games we played was to see who could build their Mr. potato head the fastest.

Go go!!

Moon man game. I had wrapped up a small Buzz figure with foil over and over. I found some Toy Story tunes online and we played "hot potato" Every time the music stopped, the person holding the Buzz got to unwrap a piece of the foil. The person who got to Buzz first got to take him home.

Present time! Grandma got him a garbage truck from the movie TS 3
Nana and Luis got him toy Story bedding!! Let's just say he was EXCITED to go to be that night.

After all the gifts were opened we had pizza.

I couldn't find a Buzz lightyear pinata so I bought a spaceship and printed off Buzz pictures and glued them on. It was too cold outside to hang the pinata from a tree, so Morgan was the lucky one and got to hold it up with a broom. Good thing we are done having kids lol
This picture is so cool! I took it right as the pinata was breaking.

It's cake time!!

Carson could not blow out the candle for some reason! It seriously took him a good four or five times to finally blow out the candle. And no it wasn't a trick candle. He just couldn't get the air out! You can see Bay in the back trying hard to not blow it out herself.

At the end of the party Morgan and I brought out our big gift for Carson.
He got a new bike!!!
Here he is when he first noticed it.

He couldn't wait to ride it!

He took it for a spin in the living room. After everyone had left we took it outside and he rode it like a pro.

I can't believe my little monkey is four already. Time sure does pass us by. I treasure every moment that we have had together. I can't wait to make many more with my little stud. Happy Birthday Carson Daniel!!!
