She's 8!!!

My baby girl is 8! I can't believe it! Where has the time gone?? I remember when we had her. She came 2 and a half weeks early. We were so surprised! My water broke in the middle of the night. I know, just like in the movies. It was great! It was funny because I was so calm when it happened. Morgan on the other hand was very stressed. He wanted to rush to the hospital right then. I had a different idea. I wanted to shower and shave my legs :) During that time Morgan called the family and loaded to car. When we got the hospital we were ready to have a baby! There is nothing like having your first child. It's such a new experience and you don't know what to expect. You worry if you will do things right and if you can care for such a precious thing. But as soon as they placed her in my arms, all of the worry went away. I knew that we would figure it out, and that Morgan and I could get through anything. And here we are 8 years later. Bailey has been such a blessing in our lives. She brings so much to our family. She is a wonderful sister to her siblings. She loves to help out where ever she can. She loves to cuddle and talk about things for hours. Bailey has a way with people. She can make friends with anyone. She truly cares about others. She loves to create things and make muffins. She wants to be a vet and has a special place in her heart for animals. She has a laugh that is contagious and a smile that shows her missing teeth. Bailey is truly a wonderful little lady and I'm so glad she picked us to be her family!
